General Election 2015

The 2015 General Election was the Green Party’s most successful campaign ever. Small Axe played a leading role in the development of the Green Party’s strategic and digital communications in the months preceding the election.

What we did

We began in 2014, with a targeted digital content strategy designed to build public awareness around key issues – reminding voters what was at stake in the upcoming election.

In 2015, ahead of the general election, we created a fresh new brand, new websites, and assets for digital and print. Initially focused on Caroline Lucas’ re-election campaign it was subsequently rolled out to other target seats.

Our impact

Green Party membership rocketed, thousands of activists mobilised and together we raised hundreds of thousands pounds.

“Small Axe bring the creative and technical expertise of a digital brand agency with a sensitive knowledge of the political landscape. They understand the challenges for those who face huge odds in a political and electoral system designed to back only the big guys. If you’re taking on a fight against the odds in politics or social change, then Small Axe are the best to help you win.”
(Simon Williams, Senior communications advisor)

Outcomes
